I’ve shared our engagement photos, my bridal shower and even our honeymoon adventure. And now 7 months later, I’m finally sharing the most beautiful day of our lives. Our wedding!
This post is long over due but I still remember it like it was yesterday. The week leading up to the wedding was a mixed bag of emotions. I felt everything from excitement, nerves, good laughs and even a little stress, but most of all, I felt a lot of love. The support of our family and friends (and of course, my then fiancé) made everything leading up to the big day a breeze.
One of my favourite moments of the day was walking down the aisle with my dad. I was ear-to-ear with smiles and at the same time trying to fight back the tears as I saw Mike standing at the alter.
Following the ceremony, we took pictures at the Peel Art Gallery, Museum and Archives. This was definitely a last minute decision and probably my best one yet. This former courthouse where to buy ventolin inhalers online converted jail is now home to an art museum. It is the perfect location to get both indoor and outdoor shots. It also has that awesome vintage vibe I love so much.
My wedding dress hunt was a long one. I tried on so many gowns all shapes and styles. I was instantly drawn to this Pronovias lace gown. With a little altering, I was able to add this amazing detachable tulle train I found off another dress. The cathedral veil was my mother’s and also my something “old”.
My bridesmaids wore champagne sequin dresses from BCBG. All equipped with a blush pink sash and a sexy slit down the side of their dresses, they looked absolutely stunning!
For my reception I was trying to achieve a romantic setting. The hall was decorated with lace linens, white draping, a head table covered in a tulle skirt and flower centerpieces with pearls.
Every time I look through our wedding photos, I have a chance to relive the happiest day of our lives. I cannot express how thankful we are to everyone who made this day the most beautiful day of our lives!

Thank you Terri!!
Congratulations on the wedding! I loved looking through your photos. Each one is absolutely beautiful. I loved your dress!
Thanks so much for the comment Rachel!!!
These wedding photos are some of the best I’ve ever seen. The bridesmaids dresses are beautiful and I rarely see that. Thanks for sharing this beautiful post!
Awe thanks so much Michelle! That’s so kind of you to say!
I’m super impressed with those bridesmaid dresses! If you want to submit your wedding to my other blog, Sunny Soirees, please do! sunnysoirees.com 🙂
They all looked great in those dresses! I will check out your blog. Thanks Krystal!
love them! That was a fun day
It’s your turn now! Get married so we can have another party 😉
I LOVE the bridesmaids!!Their dreses and attitudes are so awesome in the photos! I have been a bridesmaid multiple times and I always beg for bling and sequins! Brides are afraid of somehow being upstaged by their friends and family (which I think is so strange and shallow.) You are so awesome for wanting to showcase your bridesmaids instead of blend them into the background! What a beautfiul wedding!
I couldn’t agree more with you Jacqueline! Someone made that comment to me before my wedding and I thought it was just ridiculous. Bridesmaids should stand out, you asked them to be a part of your day with you! Thanks for the comment : )
Thanks for sharing these beautiful pictures..The design on that church is beautiful. Could you tell us where what city/state it is locate and what demonination it is? Almost looks like a Greek Orthadox church design.
Everything looked so elegant! May you continue to be as happy over the years ahead of you as you were that day. Congrats! We just had #50 but no party or big celebration.. Our daughter and one neighbor were the only ones that remembered it. Rec’d a lovely gift from my best friend/maidron of honor a few weeks after which I cherish.
Hi Betty! Thanks for the comment! It’s a Roman Catholic Church in a city just outside of Toronto, Ontario. Congratulations on your 50th. What a milestone! You and your husband should have a little celebration, it’s a big deal!!
Hi Sabrina,
What a great idea you had doing a post like this online and writing about it. You guys both look like rock stars! Thank you once again for providing a link to our site as a photo credit. Have a great day and best of luck in the future.

You looked absolutely beautiful. I have no idea what it’s like to get married but your photos made it look like an incredible experience.
Stunning photos! Waving ‘hi’ to you from Calgary via “Blog Hobnob” linkup and so glad I did. Love that swearing typewriter pic too. Ha! Lovely to meet you.
