Lately I’ve been watching a lot of DIY shows and it had me curious about the “thrifting” world. I decided I had to check what it was all about. During a lunch break one day, I https://vitallab.ca/zoloft-online/ drove to a nearby thrift store. Surrounded by furniture, clothes and all things secondhand, I was a little overwhelmed. However, once I hit the furniture section, I could see how a little creativity and an open mind can go a long way. I was quite impressed. As I was looking around, I kept eyeing this one piece in particular.
What did I like about it?
1) it’s a sturdy bamboo wood table and there was two of them (bonus!);
2) who could resist this geometric pattern?; and
3) at $10 apiece, I had nothing to lose.
I ended up buying the pair of tables. I dragged these heavy spider web infested tables to my car and stuffed them in the backseat. Back to work I went and I spent the rest of the day wondering what I was going to do with them.
The result: after a light sanding, a coat of spray paint primer, two coats of colour and rope accent, this is what I ended up with.
Needless to say, my first trip to the thrift store was a success!
Do you have any thrifting advice to share?

I saw this in your house and I had no idea you fixed it up, I thought u bought it like that! Impressive, nice job!
WELCOME to the world of thrifting & second-hand style! Isn’t it amazing? Besides finding some great home decor to customize as your own, you can also get a brief history lesson by researching some of the labels, logos and makers of some dis-guarded treasures. Love your side table, but what originally caught my eye and brought me to your blog was your office transformation you shared at RMS. Well done – LOVE it!
Happy Thrifting!
