It’s week 4 of the ORC and I find myself procrastinating, BIG TIME.
Considering we tackle some pretty courageous home improvement projects on this blog, this nursery is definitely one of our easier projects to-date. Yet, I have somehow managed not to do very much this past week.
It probably has something to do with my lack of energy mixed in with my indecisiveness and the fact that shopping like I used to is nearly impossible with a newborn. Either way, writing this post makes me realize, I don’t have
very much time left in this challenge.
Determined to finish this space and finally cross it off my to-do list, we completed all the major things, such as:
- paint the walls;
- wallpaper the accent wall; and
- purchase all the furniture pieces.
What still needs to be done, is:
- finalize the floor plan;
- hang the art work;
- find chairs for the art table; and
- add in all the little details.
Since I don’t have much of an update this week, here are some progress shots of things that I have placed in the space so far.
Don’t forget to hop on over to Calling it Home to view all the other blogs taking part in the One Room Challenge.

Until next week….
