My Bridal Shower!

By Sabrina @pinklilnotebook · On May 2, 2013

I woke up last Sunday to a beautiful day.  The sun was pouring in my bedroom window and I felt calm and a sense of relief. It was my Bridal Shower! And unlike my many wedding nightmares where everything that can go wrong, goes wrong, I actually felt prepared and organized for this day.

It all began with this.  My invitations:

This is my twist of “vintage meet modern”.  This invitation is what set the tone for the rest of the decor at the bridal shower.  I was looking for something fun but elegant at the same time!

I was absolutely in love with the black and white striped linens.  It looked stunning against the pink centerpieces and pink napkins.

A pashmina scarf was given to each guest as a favour.  Seating arrangements which also acted as “thank you” cards were placed on display boards.

The cake was surrounded by a beautiful presentation of cupcakes, cheesecakes, chocolates, candies, macaroons and cake pops all decorated to perfectly match the pink, black and white theme. I was so impressed!

The day was absolutely beautiful and I was filled with so much love, gratitude, and happiness from all the kindness shared throughout the day.  A huge THANK YOU to my wonderful mother, future mother in-law and my bridesmaids for making all of this possible for me!
