Oh baby!

Today, I sort of wanted to share some personal news with you all.

It might explain why my posting behaviour has been… umm… kinda sporadic.

May also explain the lack of projects in the past few months.

Well, I do have a good reason for that!

We’re having a baby!

I’m 18 weeks pregnant and our little one’s expected due date

is early March 2016. We are super excited, overjoyed and blessed for this new chapter in our lives but at the same time the thought of being new (inexperienced) parents is just plain out scary.

With a resurge of energy (thanks to second trimester), I’m happy to say I’m finally feeling like my good old self again.  Also my nesting instincts have kicked into high gear which means we need to make this house safe for baby.  I guess you can call this our much needed “push” to finally tackle all those incomplete projects.

Although I’ll be on modify duties for the next little while, Mike has picked up the slack big time. We’ve already started some major projects and I can’t wait to start sharing the progress on the blog.  If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve probably seen a few sneak peaks 😉
