I’m down to the final days of my wedding countdown and as nerve wrecking as this process maybe, I’m pretty excited to celebrate (...annndd also excited to get back our normal day-to-day life!). Today’s post is about the one minor detail I do not have yet, a wedding guestbook. As tradition may have it, a hardcover guestbook was the way to go for many years. However, it seems like the modern day couples want out with tradition and in with the new. I found some incredible finds to help commemorate a wedding day with objects that can be incorporated and display in the home. I was blown away with all the great options out there for alternative guestbooks. It sure does give me something to think about!!
1) ACFcustoms, Heart Drop Top Guestbook
This is truly a unique idea from Etsy store, ACFcustoms. This “drop top” guestbook is not only fun for your guest to sign but would make the perfect accessory for your home. I love the fact that they give you the choice to customize the colours to meet your needs. Match the colours with your wedding theme or match the colours to a room in your home.
2) HereandThereShop, World Map Guestbook
Having a travel themed wedding or want to showcase your unique love story through a map? Check this guestbook out! This Etsy store, Here and There Shop, let’s you fully customize your map showing anything from your favourite vacation places, where you met, honeymoon location, date spots, etc. The possibilities are endless and totally up to you!
3) Suzy Shoppe, 3D Balloons Car Silhouette Guestbook
This Etsy shop, Suzy Shoppe, creates one of a kind 3D guestbooks. Not only is this a neat and refreshing idea, I’m sure this piece of art will be a head turner when displayed proudly in your home. From 3D balloons to 3D trees and hearts, you can find it all. Best part about this shop, both an instruction card & sharpies are included.
4) Ana-White, Rustic Guest Bench
Who would of thought of using furniture as a wedding guestbook? This is quite the piece to have in your house and always a happy story to retell visiting guests. This blog even shows you the plans to build this rustic bench. For an estimated cost of $15 and 1-2 hours of your time…why not?!
5) tedzeppelynn, Wedding Guest Book Pages
Looking for some giggles?! I’m sure this template from Etsy store, tedzeppelynn, would be a hit at any wedding. Let your guests have fun while sharing advice, well wishes and showcasing their artistic abilities.
Have you seen any unique wedding guestbook ideas that knock your socks off? Please share!!

Super cute ideas! I got married last year and did did something similar to #5, but I made it myself to personalize it even more! It was super fun, and the guests loved drawing pictures of us, sharing funny moments, and memories! I should really share the template on my blog sometime, now that I think about it…
Id really love to see this! Could you share it somewhere or possibly email me?
Wicked wedding, I had so much fun! im anxious to see what your going to do with the guestbook !
I know this is a late response but I thought you’d enjoy what my husband Benjamin & I used for our guest book.
We really wanted our wedding to capture the fact that we are working musicians so we bought a “starter guitar” cut a hole invthe side of it and used it as our “busta box” and then got people to sign it. Now, it hangs gracefully in our living room and reminds us of our special day and all the special people who celebrated it with us.
What a great idea Mia! Very creative!
